Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan special education endorsement
• Strong background in developing and implementing IEPs
• Experience working with students with emotional and behavioral disabilities
• Ability to collaborate in co-teaching and self-contained classroom settings
• Proven track record in conducting assessments and providing progress reports
• Must pass a background check and be authorized to work in the US

Location: Dearborn, MI

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
• Provide tailored instruction to meet the needs of students with varying disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior, providing regular reports to families
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
