Make a positive impact supporting students with diverse learning needs as a Special Education Teacher in a cross-categorical classroom environment. This contract role provides an opportunity to collaborate with fellow educators and make a difference for students near De Pere, WI. You will create inclusive lessons and adapt instruction to meet individual education plans (IEPs), working closely with support staff, families, and administration.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Special Education Teacher license in Wisconsin
• Experience instructing students in a cross-categorical special education setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families
• Passionate about fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach and support students with a range of learning and behavioral needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to unique student abilities and goals
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction for academic and behavioral success
• Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other team members to ensure holistic support
• Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required
