Seeking Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in David City, NE, for the 2024-2025 school year. This full academic year contract runs from August 1 to May 20, 2026, primarily onsite with hybrid options available for select non-public school positions.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in both general and specialized education settings.
• Managing a caseload primarily consisting of five elementary students, with two positions offering a hybrid teaching model that includes non-public school settings.
• Providing support to one middle school special education caseload.
• Collaborating with staff, families, and administration to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Nebraska Special Education (SPED) teaching license required; pending licenses considered.
• Experience working with K-12 students in special education environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
