Job Description
Seeking Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in Clovis, NM. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in resource rooms with diverse learners throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico Special Education (SPED) certification
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location and Schedule:
- Clovis, NM
- 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
- School year (CSY) contract
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instructional support and accommodations to students with special needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation aligned with state guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and independence
