This full-time, contract position serves K-12 students at a secondary, self-contained level in Clinton Township, MI. The role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to students with significant cognitive, developmental, and/or behavioral disabilities within a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored educational programming and interventions to meet the unique needs of students with special education requirements.
- Collaborate with staff to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instructional strategies as needed.
- Maintain classroom management and a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Special Education teaching license.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
