Seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support for middle school students in grades 6-8. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive educational environment. The role is based in Clarendon Hills, IL, and is a comprehensive school year (CSY) commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and administration.
- Utilize specialized strategies and interventions to support academic and social development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to promote student growth and engagement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
- Experience working with grades 6 through 8 preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of students requiring special education services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams.

- Position is located in Clarendon Hills, IL.
- Middle school setting, Monday through Friday, full-time hours.
