Job Description

Your expertise in special education will be valued and put to use as you:

Qualifications & Credentials:

  • Possess a valid Special Education (SPED) teaching license
  • Hold all state-mandated credentials or certifications for special education
  • Demonstrate knowledge and commitment to inclusive educational practices
  • Exhibit strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
  • Experience with individualized education programs (IEPs) or case management is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted instructional strategies for diverse learners in K-12 settings
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff to ensure optimal student support
  • Monitor, document, and assess student progress to guide ongoing instruction
  • Adapt curriculum and environment to best meet student needs
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant guidelines and reporting requirements
  • Caseload size may vary, providing opportunities to support a range of students
