This opportunity is for a full-time Special Education Teacher serving 1st and 2nd grade students, primarily focused on 1st grade resource support at an elementary school in Vernon Hills, IL. The position follows the districts academic calendar, aimed for an immediate start through June 2, 2026.
Key responsibilities include providing specialized instruction and support for students with disabilities in a resource setting, collaborating with classroom teachers and staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitoring student progress to tailor learning strategies effectively. Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment is essential to this role.

Work schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30 AM-3:00 PM; Wednesday 7:30 AM-3:15 PM
