Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Special Education Teacher License
  • LBS (Learning Behavior Specialist) certification
  • PEL (Professional Educator License)

Location:

  • Chicago, IL (Onsite at an elementary school)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet varying needs.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic expectations and progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation.
