Youll work with a dedicated caseload, including one position for Early Childhood Special Education and two for elementary-aged students in self-contained classrooms. Here, youll serve as a pivotal force in students educational journeys, helping them access the curriculum and reach their goals.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia teaching license in Special Education: General Curriculum (PreK12), Adapted Curriculum (PreK12), or Early Childhood Special Education (BirthAge 5)
• Previous experience working with ECSE or elementary-aged students preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Adaptability and commitment to student-centered instruction
  Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Design lessons tailored to student needs, promoting academic and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Document student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and positive classroom environment
  Youll follow a traditional school calendar, starting August 24th and concluding June 4th, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek at a single school.
