An educational opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher with a multi-categorical license, preferred, to serve K-12 students in a contract position for the next school year. This role spans both elementary and high school classrooms, offering a chance to make a significant impact in special education within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate inclusive learning environments
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to promote academic and social development
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and assessments to engage students across multiple grade levels K-12

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification; a multi-categorical license is strongly preferred
• Experience working with students across elementary and high school grade levels
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs and diverse learning styles
