Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Maryland Special Education Teacher Certification required
• Strong background in designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Experience working with high school students in a resource room or similar setting preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach within multi-disciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning and supporting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction, individualized support, and academic interventions for students in the resource room
• Develop and monitor IEPs, documenting student growth and progress
• Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and families to support holistic student development
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet various learning needs
• Assist in transition planning and advocacy for students
