What You'll Need:
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement
- Experience or desire to work in an elementary school setting (K-4)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Dedication to meeting the unique needs of students with communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Provide specialized instruction and interventions to support language, academic, and social development
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, classroom teachers, families, and related service providers
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and adapt curriculum materials for accessibility
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and reports
