This onsite role focuses on providing tailored educational experiences to students with diverse learning needs, particularly within Autistic Support Classes and the Learning Center.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania teaching certificate in Special Education, without emergency permits.
• Documented proof or timeline of pending PA certificate.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with students with special needs, particularly in inclusive settings.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Location:

• Carlisle, PA (Onsite at a K-12 School)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction to students in Autistic Support Classes and the Learning Center.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create a conducive learning environment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet students' unique needs.
• Engage with students and families to ensure effective communication and support.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions as required.
