A part-time virtual intervention specialist position is available for a Special Education Teacher with experience working in middle schools. This contract role involves providing support and specialized instruction to a caseload of approximately 15 students, ensuring individualized learning plans are implemented effectively in a virtual environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience teaching middle school students
• Strong knowledge of special education best practices and intervention strategies
• Ability to deliver instruction and interventions in a virtual format
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience managing a caseload and maintaining progress documentation

Location: Remote (Virtual position supporting students in the Canton, OH area)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual intervention services tailored to individual student needs
• Manage and support a caseload of 15 students with various learning challenges
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and communication regarding student performance
