• Proven experience working with students on the autism spectrum, particularly in a self-contained classroom setting

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored educational programs for students in the pre-K/K special education classroom
• Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to create a comprehensive and individualized learning plan
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed to support their development
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress in compliance with district requirements
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
• Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment that promotes social and emotional growth
