Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification (required)
• Experience designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented approach
• Previous experience in schools or educational settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage IEPs for students with exceptional needs
• Modify curriculum and adapt lessons according to each students abilities and IEP goals
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to maximize learning outcomes
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations
• Foster an encouraging, respectful, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
