This opportunity invites experienced special education teachers to support K-12 students in a full-time, contract role located in St. Paul, MN. Teachers will work collaboratively within a dynamic school environment, delivering tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for a caseload of approximately eight students.
- Deliver specialized instruction across elementary, middle, or high school levels, depending on assignment.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to promote academic and social growth.
- Collaborate effectively with general education staff, families, and support services to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education, with at least one year of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct and manage students across elementary, middle, or high school grade levels.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments.
Position Details:
- Location: St. Paul, MN
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Caseload: Approximately 8 students
- Contract duration: Current school year
