A Special Education Teacher position is available in Wichita Falls, TX, serving students in a middle school setting for the contract school year (CSY). This role focuses on delivering specialized instructional support to K-12 students with diverse learning needs, ensuring an inclusive and effective learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Special Education Teacher license
- Experience working with middle school and K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and differentiated instruction techniques
- Ability to collaborate with general education staff, parents, and support personnel
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Location and Schedule:
- Wichita Falls, TX
- Middle School setting
- Contract position for the school year
- 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored instruction plans based on students individual learning needs and IEP goals
- Assist in assessing student progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
