Youll join an inviting school community located near Buhl, ID, for the 2026-2027 academic year, with dedicated support and a collaborative atmosphere.
What youll need to bring:
- Valid Idaho State Teaching Certificate
- Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate
- Special Education (SPED) Endorsement
- Prior experience in an Exceptional Resource Classroom (ERC) or similar environment
- Comfort managing toileting needs for students
- Ability to adapt instruction for K-12 students with varying disabilities and levels of severity
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and families
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering individualized instruction and modifying curriculum for students with a mix of disabilities
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and transitions
- Documenting student progress and communicating regularly with parents and staff
- Providing behavioral and academic support, adapting interventions as needed
- Ensuring a safe, caring, and nurturing classroom environment for all students
