Two full-time Special Education Teacher positions are available for elementary school leave coverage in Brockton, MA. These contract roles involve supporting students with moderate to intensive special education needs, offering a dynamic and rewarding classroom experience from January through April.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to elementary students with moderate and intensive special education needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to foster inclusive learning environments
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license at the Moderate or higher level
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavior management techniques
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Brockton, MA
• Full-time, 32.5 hours per week
• Leave coverage from January through April
