Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher, supporting learners and collaborating with a dedicated team. This full-time, onsite contract position is set in a vibrant school environment, where youll work with a resource caseload at the elementary level and contribute to student success throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Bilingual in Spanish, with the ability to facilitate communication and instruction for a diverse student population
  • At least one year of classroom teaching experience in special education
  • Flexibility and a positive, team-oriented approach to collaboration
  • Valid (or in-progress) Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license; the district cannot accept TEE. A copy of your CDE license or a current COOL transcript must be submitted with your application.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing direct special education support to students within a resource setting
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Using effective strategies and accommodations to differentiate instruction and ensure student growth
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and federal requirements
  • Creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom culture that celebrates each students unique strengths and abilities

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $57.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
