Make an impact by supporting students as a Special Education Teacher working with a learning disabilities classroom in a self-contained setting. This full-time contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, providing you a consistent schedule and the opportunity to build strong connections with your students and colleagues. The position is onsite only and located near Boiling Springs, SC.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification in South Carolina, or in pending status
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in teaching students with learning disabilities
• Commitment to fostering a positive, encouraging classroom environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and families
• Excellent communication skills and a solutions-driven approach
• Adaptability to the unique needs of a self-contained setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction and support within a self-contained classroom for students with learning disabilities
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Track progress, modify teaching strategies, and communicate outcomes to relevant team members
• Use behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and active participation
• Collaborate closely with school team members, including other teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists
• Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and required trainings
