Empower students to reach their full potential as a Special Education Teacher in a resource classroom setting. Two full-time openings are available for dedicated educators who are passionate about providing individualized instruction and fostering an inclusive classroom culture.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification to teach Special Education in South Carolina
• Experience working in a resource classroom or comparable special education environment preferred
• Strong ability to tailor instruction based on students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborative skills to work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students in a resource classroom setting for a variety of subjects as outlined in IEPs
• Develop, implement, and continually assess individualized lesson plans
• Adapt curriculum and modify assignments to meet each student's unique needs
• Track and document student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
• Conduct IEP meetings, collaborate on student goals, and communicate progress with parents and stakeholders
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued

These are full-time positions, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
