Positions Available:
- Early Childhood Special Education at Okatie Elementary
- Severe and Profound Special Education at May River High School
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student's unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to foster inclusive learning environments
- Utilize specialized instructional strategies and resources to support students with disabilities
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain thorough documentation of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and administrators
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with early childhood or severe and profound special education populations preferred
- Strong understanding of special education laws, IEP development, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in onsite school settings
Work Details:
- Location: Bluffton, SC
- Schedule: Onsite, 37.5 hours per week
