This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in North Billerica, MA. This travel assignment offers a chance to bring expertise and passion for special education to a school setting that values inclusive learning. The role is structured for 37.5 hours per week across five days, providing consistent engagement with students throughout the school week.
Key qualifications for this position include:
- A valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) license
- Experience working with K-12 age groups in special education settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs
- Providing direct instruction, support, and accommodations in accordance with each students IEP
- Collaborating with general education teachers and related service providers to create an inclusive learning environment
- Maintaining accurate progress documentation and participating in team meetings to review student development
