A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at an elementary school in Berwyn, IL, serving 5th-grade students. This contract role runs from December 1 through May 29, 2026, and requires on-site presence. The assignment offers an opportunity to apply specialized skills in a supportive educational environment focused on meeting the diverse learning needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to 5th-grade students with special needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.

• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports consistent with state and district regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Illinois Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably 5th grade.

• Ability to create adaptive learning materials and utilize diverse instructional methods.
