Youll join a dynamic team working full-time (37.5 hours/week), tailoring instruction to meet the unique needs of your students.
Positions are available in second grade learning support, Wilson Reading programs (grades 3-8), and K-2 emotional support classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills, collaborate with other dedicated professionals, and develop your expertise through mentoring and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Education or related field
- Current Pennsylvania certification in Special Education
- Experience with K-8 learning support, reading intervention, or emotional/behavioral support preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Genuine commitment to inclusive, student-centered education
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction tailored to diverse learning needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Track student progress and adapt strategies to maximize academic, social, and emotional growth
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Participate in professional development and maintain up-to-date instructional best practices
