You'll play a pivotal role in delivering individualized instruction and developing supportive learning plans, working onsite with a dedicated team of educators.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid PA Special Education Teaching Certification (required)
- Previous experience in a high school setting preferred but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of IEP writing and implementation
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction tailored to the diverse needs of high school special education students
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, and families to support students academic progress and social development
- Track students growth, adapting strategies to optimize learning outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required trainings
