Job Description
This position seeks a full-time Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support for elementary students from March 2026 through June 2026. The role involves delivering push-in and pull-out services to a caseload of 13 students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education or General Education teaching license
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
- Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt instruction accordingly
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with classroom teachers and support staff
- Willingness to serve in a contract role as a traveler
Location:
- Hyde Park, Vermont
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and interventions tailored to students unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop and maintain effective IEPs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Support students in both inclusive classroom settings and specialized sessions
