Job Description

This position seeks a full-time Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support for elementary students from March 2026 through June 2026. The role involves delivering push-in and pull-out services to a caseload of 13 students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education or General Education teaching license
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
  • Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt instruction accordingly
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration with classroom teachers and support staff
  • Willingness to serve in a contract role as a traveler

Location:

  • Hyde Park, Vermont

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and interventions tailored to students unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop and maintain effective IEPs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Support students in both inclusive classroom settings and specialized sessions
