Job Description

This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide specialized intervention support to K-12 students in an elementary and middle school setting. The role focuses on serving students with dyslexia and supporting bilingual learners in Spanish within a structured, supportive educational environment. The professional will work a full-time schedule, five days per week, making a meaningful impact on students academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based dyslexia intervention tailored to individual student needs
  • Utilize bilingual skills, particularly Spanish, to support diverse learners, enhancing their reading and language development
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to create and implement effective instructional strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in training opportunities, including Esperanza Training, to stay current on best practices

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Reading by Design, required
  • Bilingual Spanish skills preferred to effectively engage with students and families
  • Completion of Esperanza Training is highly valued
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students, especially in special education settings, is advantageous

Location: Manor, Texas, in the Austin metropolitan area
