Job Description
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year, serving a middle school caseload. This contract role is focused on supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to middle school students with mild to moderate special education needs
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with parents and staff
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with middle school students
- Familiarity with mild to moderate disabilities and appropriate instructional strategies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
