This contract opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support within a K-12 school setting in Aurora, CO. The role is designed for onsite presence, offering up to 30 hours per week Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, throughout the current school year. This position focuses on delivering specialized instruction to small groups of 58 students with mild to moderate needs, including occasional support in an Affective Needs program when required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering targeted small group instruction tailored to students' individual learning goals
• Collaborating with school staff to develop and implement effective educational strategies
• Monitoring student progress and adapting approaches to meet evolving needs
• Providing emotional and behavioral support as part of the Affective Needs program when necessary

Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with a Special Education endorsement (DORA certificate/license is not acceptable)
• Experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate special education needs
• Ability to work onsite full-time during school hours and maintain effective communication with the school team
