This full-time Special Education Teacher position offers a rewarding opportunity to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Adrian, MI. The role is contract-based, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the current school year. The position is onsite and involves managing a caseload of students across grades K-12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal education regulations
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance instructional practices

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher license required
• Experience working with a diverse K-12 special education population preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams
• Ability to manage a full caseload and adapt strategies to meet individual student needs
