Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification
• Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Committed to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Flexibility to work in various settings, including resource, self-contained, inclusion, and 1:1 support

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction to special education students in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote student success
• Track and report student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
• Foster an environment that encourages student growth, independence, and confidence
• Engage in ongoing professional development and actively seek mentorship from the Clinical Advisory Team
