A K-12 school district in Wyoming, MI, is seeking a qualified Social Worker to support students across two school buildings. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek with hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM and the possibility of working three days per week. The position focuses on students aged K-26, many of whom have disabilities, providing both direct and consultative social work services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 18 students, including 15 receiving direct services and 3 consultative cases
• Conduct assessments, coordinate interventions, and participate in program development tailored to student needs
• Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Attend meetings and contribute to the design and implementation of systems that enhance student well-being and educational outcomes

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work or a related field
• Valid School Social Worker (SSW) license
• Previous experience working in school settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
