Job Description

An Elementary School Social Worker position is available for a full-time contract covering maternity leave through January. Located in Washington, Illinois, this role focuses on providing essential social work support within an elementary school setting for the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being

  • Maintain accurate case documentation in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Social Worker with experience in school settings

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to commit through the end of maternity leave coverage in January
