Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students wellbeing and growth as a School Social Worker this school year! We are seeking talented professionals with a deep commitment to student success to provide compassionate care through maternity leave coverage at a vibrant elementary setting. Two assignments are available: a short-term coverage from September 8th through September 21st, and a longer-term opportunity from September 8th to December.

Your expertise will be essential in partnering with educators, families, and staff to foster a positive and inclusive environment where every student thrives. This contract position offers you the chance to make meaningful impacts while working with an engaged school community.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and current School Social Worker Certification (emergency or temporary licenses will not be considered)
• Experience in an elementary school setting is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to design and implement evidence-based social and emotional interventions
• Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based support systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group counseling to address student social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop student support plans
• Facilitate proactive interventions and support crisis management
• Coordinate with families and community agencies to provide resources and referrals
• Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation as appropriate
