Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Social Worker (SSW) license required
• Previous professional experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Strong communication, advocacy, and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and community resources

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students in grades K-12
• Assess and address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies and support plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents to create effective solutions
• Advocate for students well-being and serve as a liaison with outside agencies when needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
