Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan social work license required
  • School-based social work experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to evaluate student needs and develop appropriate support plans
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and openness to various caseload assignments (tailored during the interview process)

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to students, partnering with staff and families
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement and well-being
  • Deliver direct services, including counseling, crisis intervention, and group work
  • Maintain confidential records and documentation in accordance with district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
