Key Qualifications:

• Active certification or license in Social Work appropriate for schools
• Previous experience as a School Social Worker, or closely related position within a school setting
• Strong understanding of the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to manage sensitive situations confidentially and professionally
• Experience in developing and implementing intervention plans a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and support to students individually and in group settings
• Assess student needs and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student well-being
• Develop and facilitate intervention strategies to address academic, social, and emotional challenges
• Consult and partner with school staff to create a supportive learning atmosphere
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and document services provided as required
