Support student well-being and academic success as a licensed School Social Worker in a Minneapolis-area K-12 school setting. This maternity leave contract opportunity runs immediately through April 2026 and offers a full-time, 40-hour per week schedule serving a high school caseload.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed School Social Worker in Minnesota
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferably high school
• Strong skills in student counseling, crisis intervention, and family engagement
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans
• Knowledge of school policies, community resources, and child welfare systems

Location:

• School is located near Minneapolis, MN, in the Little Canada area

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social work services to high school students including individual and group counseling
• Conduct assessments and develop support plans addressing behavioral, social, and emotional needs
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to address student challenges and promote a positive school climate
• Facilitate communication between students, families, and school staff to support educational goals
• Connect students and families with community resources and outside agencies as needed

Contract Details:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Immediate start through April 2026
