Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid New Mexico School Social Worker License (SSW), or credentials as LBSW, LMSW, or LCSW
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, families, and school staff
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable with virtual service delivery, if providing remote support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized advice, consultation, and therapeutic support to students, addressing personal, emotional, familial, or social issues
  • Work closely with parents, teachers, administrators, and other school personnel
  • Develop intervention strategies to enhance students' academic and social experiences
  • Participate in student support meetings and contribute insight for multi-tiered systems of support
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and district policies
