This position offers a dynamic opportunity for a licensed Social Worker to support students across K-12 grades in a school setting in Los Lunas, NM. The role involves working onsite with a caseload spanning the entire school year contract, providing essential social work services to enhance student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive social work services to K-12 students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized support plans
- Conduct assessments and provide counseling, crisis intervention, and referral services as needed
- Maintain accurate case documentation in compliance with policies and regulations
- Participate in professional development and clinical supervision opportunities
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Social Service Worker (SSW) credential in New Mexico is required
- Experience working in school-based social work preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work collaboratively within an educational team
Position Details:
- Location: Los Lunas, NM
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, onsite
- Contract term: ASAP through end of the school year
