A K-12 school district is seeking a School Social Worker for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on students across all grade levels by collaborating closely with district social workers and connecting families with community resources.
Location: Red Lion, PA
Hours: 35-37.5 hours per week
Number of Openings: 1
Grade Levels: K-12, district-wide
Duration: 2025-2026 school year (NSY Contract)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with district social workers to provide support and interventions for students in need
- Manage referrals to community agencies and services, ensuring comprehensive care for families
- Assist students and families in overcoming social, emotional, and environmental challenges impacting education
- Maintain accurate documentation and work in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania social worker license required
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
