Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience working within elementary, middle, and/or high school environments
• Strong communication skills for building rapport with students, staff, and caregivers
• Familiarity with restorative practices, crisis intervention, and evidence-based counseling techniques
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in school communities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling to address student social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, counselors, and administrators
• Liaise with families, providing resources and connecting them to community agencies when needed
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and child study teams
• Provide crisis support and intervention in urgent situations
• Maintain accurate case notes, progress reports, and documentation in line with school policies
