Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Michigan Social Worker credential
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong ability to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Skilled in crisis intervention, counseling, and resource referral

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social-emotional support and intervention for students K-12
• Participate in developing and implementing individualized support plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
• Advocate for students' academic and social needs within the school community
• Provide consultation and resources to staff regarding student well-being
• Maintain confidential records and adhere to policies and procedures set by the district
