Step into a pivotal role supporting students K-12 as a Multi-Tier System of Supports (MTSS) Social Worker/Counselor. This contract opportunity is located near Grand Blanc, MI, and offers the chance to work onsite during the 2026-2027 school year (August 17June 11), providing 35 hours per week to make a meaningful impact.

Youll collaborate closely with general and special education teachers, administrative staff, students, and families, leveraging your expertise to design interventions, manage caseloads, and guide teams through data-driven strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited institution
• Current full Michigan licensure to practice as a LMSW or LPC (LLMSW/LLPC considered with a path to full licensure)
• Prior experience in school, educational, or related agency social work/counseling preferred
• Familiarity with collaborative, multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable working onsite and managing a diverse K-12 caseload
• Prepared to provide official university transcripts, current LARA license, and MDE Social Work Approval

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on data collection and assessment methods for individual students
• Evaluate and recommend evidence-based interventions, tracking effectiveness
• Participate in MTSS meetings, student support sessions, and parent conferences
• Provide direct support, including group and one-on-one interventions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
• Facilitate collaborative teamwork and coordinate multiservice support plans
• Encourage parent and family engagement throughout the educational process
