Step into a vital contract position as an MTSS (Multi-Tier Systems of Support) Social Worker/Counselor supporting general education students across K-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited institution
• Current Michigan licensure: LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor); LLMSW/LLPC will be considered with the intent to achieve full licensure
• Prior experience providing social work or counseling in public schools or related agencies preferred
• Proven ability to participate in and contribute to collaborative teams
• Comfortable engaging with K-12 caseload in a school setting
• Possession of official university transcripts, LARA license, and MDE SW approval (to be collected before submission)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, recommend, and assist with school-based intervention modifications and new strategy implementations
• Design and implement tiered interventions; provide consultation and case management for students and families with multi-service needs
• Take an active role in MTSS and student support meetings, including parent conferences
• Guide staff with research-based, data-driven intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate student data and documentation; report progress to the MTSS Supervisor
• Help parents and families engage in their childrens educational process
• Provide direct individual and group intervention services to students and utilize effective behavior management techniques
• Ensure adherence to all district policies and protocols
