Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work
- Fully licensed and MDE-certified (Michigan Department of Education) Social Worker, or SSW 310 credential letter and active application with MDE
- Possession of a valid Michigan State Social Worker license through LARA
- Experience supporting students in K-12, especially those in special education, is highly valued
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver intervention support in both small or moderate group environments as well as individualized 1:1 sessions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school teams to develop and implement effective support strategies
- Monitor student progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet learning and emotional needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students across elementary, middle, or high school levels, based on placement
- Uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, confidentiality, and advocacy for student welfare
